USA: Asian food truck builders in Utah fall victim to racial hatred
Fresno / California : An Asian food truck has fallen victim to racist hatred in Utah, USA. Police said Monday that an Asian food truck north of Salt Lake City had been hit by racist words and pictures. The world-famous Yum Yum food truck, known for its Filipino and Asian cuisine, shared racist pictures with white spray on its Facebook page on Sunday.
Police officials are considering the incident as a possible hate crime. No one has been identified so far. The Stop AAPI has received more than 6,600 reports of hate incidents from March 2020 to March 2021.
