‘Told you guys I’d beat this’: Abhishek Bachchan tests negative for COVID-19
Abhishek Bachchan has shared the happiest news! The actor has been tested negative for COVID-19 after being hospitalised for more than 20 days. The actor was admitted to the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai along with Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan. They all got tested negative a few days back and were discharged from the hospital. Now after fighting and being patient, Abhishek is set to be back home.
He wrote on his Twitter page, “A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this. Thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. THANK YOU!”.
While he wrote on his Instagram page, “I TOLD YOU!!! Discharge plan: YES!! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes. I’m so happy to be able to go home. #believe My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati Hospital for taking such good care of me and my family and helping us beat Covid-19. We couldn’t have done it without them.”
Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan were tested positive on July 11, 2020, and were rushed to the hospital. The incident took place just the day after his show, Breathe: Into The Shadows streamed on Amazon Prime Video. The actor has been sharing updates about his health on his social media pages.
