Punjabi singer Shivjot also violates corona rules, gets bail after arrest

Chandigarh: A case has been registered against Punjabi singer and lyricist Shivjot for violating Corona Guidelines. It is learned that Shivjot along with his accomplices Yadwinder Singh, Jashandeep Singh, Harmanjot Singh and Ramandeep Singh were shooting a song at Reyat Bahra College under Kathgarh police station in the past. Meanwhile, they have flouted the Corona guidelines.

In view of this a case has been registered against Shivjot by Sub-Inspector Jarnail Singh in-charge of Asaron police station. It is learned that five persons, including singer Shivjot, were also detained in the case.

However, he was later released on bail. Police said that a case has been registered against them under various sections of the Violation Act for violating the Corona Guidelines.

Further action is being taken in this regard. Earlier, Punjabi singer Khan Saab was also arrested for violating the Corona Guidelines. However, he was later granted bail. Khan Saab had gathered on the occasion of his birthday and had also violated the night curfew.
