Kangana Ranaut mocks ‘Bullywood mafia’ after NCB summons Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakulpreet Singh in drugs case

Actress Kangana Ranaut recently took to her Twitter handle to take a jibe at film industry actors and mock ‘Bullywood mafia’ after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) issued summons to several stars for questioning in the alleged Bollywood-drugs nexus investigation that is part of the ongoing probe in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

Taking to her verified Twitter handle, Kangana wrote, “Finally for the first time Bullywood mafia wishing that Sushant wasn’t killed and Kangana wasn’t pushed against the wall, for the first time they are regretting their cruelty, sadism and silence. For the first time they are wishing they could turn back time and bring us back (sic).”

The tweet came after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday summoned Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preeet Singh for interrogation in the said drug-related case.

Earlier, Madhu Mantena Verma, a noted producer, who gave blockbusters like ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Ghajini’, deposed before the NCB on Wednesday in the drugs-related case as the agency widened its probe into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Verma arrived at the NCB office in Mumbai for questioning a day after he was summoned for questioning as his name cropped up during the questioning of several other people in the last few days.

Besides Mantena, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bollywood talent agency KWAN, Dhruv Chitgopekar, on Wednesday appeared before the NCB. The federal agency, which is probing the drug case linked to Sushant`s death investigation, had yesterday summoned Chitgopekar, Head Talent Manager Jaya Saha and Karishma to join the ongoing investigation. Karishma handles Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone`s account. The NCB has also summoned Shruti Modi, former business manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, to join the investigation.

Meanwhile, actor Rhea Chakraborty, in her second request for bail after spending 14 days in judicial custody in a Mumbai jail, has alleged a witch-hunt against her by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). She also alleges that Sushant Singh Rajput “took advantage of those closest to him to sustain his drug habit”.
