Ankita Lokhande has decided to be ‘strange and powerful’ after CBI takes over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case
Ankita Lokhande, who had been raising for a voice for a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, has now shared a ‘strange and powerful’ post after Supreme Court directed the transfer of the case to CBI. A day after the judgment was announced, Ankita shared a cryptic Instagram post.
She wrote, “Here’s to being strange and powerful,” along with, “truth” as the caption to her post. The image which Ankita shared, read, “Women are taught to be too many things that contradict each other so I’ve decided to just be strange and powerful.”
Arti Singh, who was also among the first to ask a CBI for Sushant, commented on Ankita’s post. “Very good. Vahi Sahi hai,” wrote the ex-‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant. Arti and Ankita are good friends and belong to the same industry – the Indian TV world.
Ankita stood by Sushant’s family, especially sister Shweta Singh Kirti, who had asked the help of social media to bring justice to her brother. She had started #CBIForSSR, #JusticeForSSR, #GlobalPrayersForSSR, among many other initiatives, all of which were supported by Ankita.
Not only Ankita, her boyfriend Vicky Jain had also recently shown his support to #GlobalPrayers4SSR, and demanded CBI probe for the actor. Currently, after the Supreme Court’s verdict, the CBI has landed in Mumbai and is interrogating suspects in the case.
